Rev. Tracy A. Gibbs

Rev. Tracy A. Gibbs is an Associate Minister of the Union Baptist Church (Cambridge, MA) since 2001.

Rev. Gibbs was licensed and ordained through the Union Baptist Church, in association with the United Baptist Convention of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire.

Realizing God’s hand upon her life at an early age, she has witnessed God’s grace and care throughout her life’s journey.  An anointed gospel singer, Rev. Gibbs has been performing and singing the Good News since the age of three.  Her musical gifts and talents have won her many awards as she has ministered through many gospel concerts throughout the nation.

Rev. Gibbs’ ministry assignments include assisting the pastor with pulpit duties, informally counseling with members, visiting the infirm, educating in the areas of prayer, and church worship. She was led to start the church Prayer Ministry where she trains and teaches ministry organizations in the area of prayer.  Currently, Rev. Gibbs is the church’s primary Praise and Worship leader and she also serves as a board member for the Union Social Action Foundation, a non-profit organization of Union Baptist Church that supports the church’s social action community programs.

Rev. Gibbs has a long history of working in the community where she serves on many boards and advisory boards.  Formerly educated in the area of Marketing and Journalism, Rev. Gibbs is a graduate of Emmanuel College and a marketing professional by vocation.  She formerly worked as a television news producer for WLVI-TV and WBZ-TV and as Director of Public Relations and Community Outreach at the Cambridge Center for Adult Education, the Museum of African American History.  She currently serves as the founder and proprietor of Heavenly Communications, a non-profit consulting firm, where she consults in the fields of non-profit management and fundraising.

Rev. Gibbs is a Master’s of Divinity candidate at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary.
